عقد اللواء أركان حرب شريف فهمى بشارة محافظ الإسماعيلية اجتماع الاستعداد المُبكر لفصل الشتاء و هطول الأمطار. بحضور المهندس أحمد عصام الدين نائب محافظ الإسماعيلية و اللواء هشام الطويل السكرتير العام المساعد للمحافظة و العميد أركان حرب أسامة الحديني المستشار العسكري للمحافظة و اللواء عبد الحميد عصمت رئيس الشركة القابضة لمياه الشرب و الصرف الصحي بمحافظات القناة و اللواء هنري إبراهيم معاون المحافظ للشبكة الوطنية الموحدة للطوارئ و السلامة العامة و المهندس أحمد الشيمي مدير عام مديرية الطرق و النقل و رئيس قطاع الشبكات للشمال و الجنوب بشركة القناة لتوزيع الكهرباء و مدير عام مرفق المياه بهيئة قناة السويس و وكيل وزارة الريِّ بالمحافظة و رؤساء المراكز و المدن و الأحياء و الجهات المعنية بالاجتماع.
و خلال الاجتماع، تم عرض و مناقشة استعدادات المحافظة للتغيرات المناخية و فصل الشتاء و هطول الأمطار مع تحديد بؤر تجمعات مياه الأمطار خلال فصل الشتاء الماضي و وضع حلول جذرية لتلافيها.
و قد أشار "هنري" إلى بؤر تجمعات مياه الأمطار بحيِّ ثالث منها شارع معاذ بن جبل و النخيل و أمام بوابة حديقة الخالدين شارع شجاع أمام مركز على خليل للعيون، مدرسة القديس يوسف بمنطقة المدارس بالطريق الدائري، أمام قسم شرطة المرافق مبني مجمع المحاكم مع برج الجوهرة، طريق الكاكولا، خلف ديوان عام المحافظة، أمام مديرية الزراعة، شارع شبين مع التجاري (ميدان إبراهيم سلامة).
أما بالنسبة لبؤر تجمعات مياه الأمطار بحي ثانِ، خلف النادي الإسماعيلي و شارع الغابة.
كما أضاف أنه يوجد بحيِّ أول بؤر تجمعات مياه الأمطار بمنطقة كارفور، أمام نادى الفيروز، منطقة السبع بنات، أمام قسم أول، أمام كوبري الحميات.
و أكد " الشيمي" أنه تم حل جميع هذه البؤر عن طريق إنشاء بيارات و تغيير خطوط صرف الأمطار و تطهير البالوعات بشكل دوري.
كما أشار "عصمت" إلى أنه تم إعداد خطة لانتشار و تمركز معدات الشركة القابضة لمياه الشرب و الصرف الصحي و معدات المحافظة و المراكز و المدن و مديرية الري و مرفق المياه التابع لهيئة قناة السويس و ذلك بالتنسيق الكامل مع الجهات التنفيذية في حال مواجهة السيول و الأمطار.
مؤكدًا على أنه جاري تطهير كافة شنايش الأمطار بكافة مراكز و مدن و أحياء المحافظة وفق خطة زمنية محددة وُضعت مسبقًا مع الوضع في الاعتبار رفع مخلفات تلك الشنايش من قبل الشركة أو سيارات المركز أو الحي التابع له.
و خلال الاجتماع وجه بشارة مديرية الطرق و النقل بالإسماعيلية بإعداد دراسة و معاينة شبكة الصرف لطريق المعاهدة و مدخل عز الدين (أمام البحوث الزراعية).
كما ناقش الاجتماع، أنه تم رصد بؤر تجمع مياه الأمطار تقاطع شارع شل و عثماسون و قد وجه " بشارة " مديرية الطرق و النقل بإنشاء بيارة تجميع.
و أشار وكيل وزارة الري بالإسماعيلية أنه تم تطهير كافة مخرات السيول القصيرة و المتفرعة؛ و ذلك استعدادًا لمواجهة السيول و الأمطار.
و وجَّه بشارة بتشكيل لجنة مشتركة بين مديرية الري و الشبكة الوطنية الموحدة للطوارئ و السلامة العامة بالمحافظة للمرور على كافة المخرات.
و وجَّه "بشارة" شركة القناة لتوزيع الكهرباء، إلى ضرورة قطع الكهرباء في المناطق فى حال حدوث سيول و ذلك حفاظًا على أرواح المواطنين.
و ناقش الاجتماع خطة المرور في الانتشار و تسهيل حركة المرور و إيجاد طرق بديلة علاوة على الخطة الاحتياطية للدفاع المدني و ذلك في حال وجود سيول.
و في نهاية الاجتماع، أكد محافظ الإسماعيلية على رؤساء المراكز و المدن و الأحياء بمتابعة أعمدة الإنارة و التأكد من سلامتها و العوازل اللازمة لها قبل بداية فصل الشتاء و هطول الأمطار.

And he emphasizes the solve of all rainwater and torrential rains at the level of the governorate's cities.
Major General Staff Sherif Fahmy Bishara, Governor of Ismailia, held an early preparation meeting for winter and rain.
In the presence of Eng. Ahmed Essam El-Din, Deputy Governor of Ismailia, Major General Hisham Al-Taweel, Assistant Secretary-General of the governorate, Brigadier General Staff War Osama Al-Hadini, military advisor to the governorate, Major General Abdel Hamid Esmat, head of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in the Canal Governorates, and Major General Henry Ibrahim, assistant governor of the Unified National Emergency Network. And Public Safety and Eng. Ahmed El-Shimy, Director General of the Roads and Transport Directorate, Head of the Networks Sector for the North and South of the Canal Company for Electricity Distribution, Director General of the Water Utility at the Suez Canal Authority, Director General of the Irrigation Directorate, heads of centers, cities, neighborhoods, and the parties concerned with the meeting.
During the meeting, the governorate's preparations for climatic changes, winter and rainfall were presented and discussed, with the identification of rainwater pools during the last winter and the development of radical solutions to avoid them.
Henry referred to the rainwater pools in a third district, including Moaz bin Jabal and Al-Nakhil Street, in front of the Khalideen Park gate, Shuja Street, in front of the Ali Khalil Eye Center, St. Joseph School in the School District on the Ring Road, in front of the Utilities Police Department, the Courts Complex building with tower Al-Jawhara, Coca-Cola Road, behind the Governorate General court, in front of the Directorate of Agriculture, Shebin with Al-Tojari Street (Ibrahim Salama Square).
As for the rainwater gathering spots in a second district, behind the Ismaili Club and El-Ghaba Street.
He also added that there are in the first neighborhood rainwater gathering spots in the Carrefour region, in front of the Fairouz Club, the Seven girls area, in front of the first police station, in front of the Al-Homiyat Bridge.
Al-Shimy confirmed that all these outposts have been resolved by establishing orchards, changing rain drainage lines, and disinfecting sewers periodically.
Esmat also indicated that a plan was prepared for the spread and centralization of the equipment of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation, the governorate equipment, the centers and cities, the Irrigation Directorate and the water facility of the Suez Canal Authority, in full coordination with the executive authorities in the event of floods and rains.
Stressing that all raindrops are being purified in all centers, cities and neighborhoods of the governorate according to a specific time plan developed in advance, bearing in mind the removal of the waste of those hangers by the company or the cars of the center or its neighborhood.
During the meeting, Bishara directed the Roads and Transport Directorate in Ismailia to prepare a study and inspect the drainage network of El-Mo'ahada road and the entrance to Ezz El-Din (in front of agricultural research).
The meeting also discussed, that rainwater collection points were monitored at the intersection of Shell and Othmason Streets, and Bishara directed the Roads and Transport Directorate to establish a collection orchard.
The Director General of the Irrigation Directorate in Ismailia indicated that all the short and branching torrents had been cleared; This is in preparation for the floods and rains.
Bishara directed the formation of a joint committee between the Irrigation Directorate and the unified national network for emergency and public safety in the governorate to check through all the torrents.
Bishara directed the Canal Electricity Distribution Company to the necessity of cutting off electricity in the regions in the event of floods, in order to preserve the lives of citizens.
The meeting discussed the traffic plan for spreading, facilitating traffic and finding alternative roads, in addition to the civil defense backup plan, in the event of torrential rains.
At the end of the meeting, the Governor of Ismailia assured the heads of the centers, cities and neighborhoods to follow up on the lighting poles and ensure their safety and the necessary insulators before the onset of winter and rain.
